Roller

Rollers guide and support the moving parts of the crane, above all the trolley that travels along the jib to change the working radius.

Construction

Hardened steel rollers, or rollers on sealed bearings, mounted in brackets and set to the jib rail. They are made to run true and to be replaced individually or as a set.

Role on the crane

The rollers carry the trolley and the lifted load while keeping travel smooth and aligned along the jib, so radius control stays accurate and wear stays even.

Inspection and maintenance

• Check for wear, flat spots and uneven contact with the rail.
• Check bearing play and listen for abnormal noise; lubricate to schedule.
• Replace worn or damaged rollers, ideally in sets, and re-check alignment.
